What you will leave with
- One method you can reuse. Not a list of tips, but a sequence of seven moves that works the same way on an essay, a midterm, or a term that has gone sideways.
- A completed assignment planner. We will work through one together using an assignment you actually have, so you leave having done it once rather than having watched it done.
- A clear answer on AI. When it helps you learn, when it quietly replaces the learning, and what to do if you have already handed in something you could not explain.
Free tools, whether or not you come

Who is running it
Peter Arthur, PhD is a Professor of Teaching at the University of British Columbia and a 2023 Killam Teaching Prize recipient. His work focuses on how students learn and what helps them succeed.
